The first stage of designing the reconstruction of one of the largest Russian washing and steaming stations (PPS) has been completed, implying its transition to the environmentally safe resource-saving washing and recycling technologies developed by CTG for preparing boilers of railway tank cars for filling and/or repair.

Cyclograms, proposals on the number of trestles and working places for handling tank cars, as well as initial data for further design, including:

• general description of technological operations for the preparation of tank cars: washing, rinsing, degassing and drying;
• technological flowcharts showing the main technological flows;
• approximate layout of the main equipment on the substructure;
• estimated costs and requirements for energy resources, connection points;
• approximate unit costs of reagents and auxiliary materials;
• list of the main technological equipment;
• indicative data on the quality and quantity of generated wastewater and waste at connection points (wastewater, sludge)
• etc.
