Conversion of natural gas
The technology is designed for processing of natural gas to commercial products: liquid engine fuels, alcohols, dimethyl ether, etc. Natural gas at high temperature is mixed with carbon dioxide and steam to form synthesis gas (mixture of carbon monoxide and hydrogen) - raw material for organic synthesis technologies (Fischer-Tropsch synthesis, oxo synthesis). The ratios of components at the inlet are selected to ensure the desired ratio of H2 / CO at the outlet. The technology features allow to vary this parameter in a wide range.
Main advantages:
Scheme of natural gas conversion
1 - generator of high temperature component flow;
2 - reaction chamber;
3 - steam generator;
4 - absorber of carbon dioxide;
5 - filter;
6 - electricity generator;
7 - heat exchanger;
8 - steam generator;
9 - absorber of carbon dioxide;
10 - desorber of carbon dioxide.
